In twenty-13, the roaring twenties are all the rage. “Gatsby” is far and away the biggest catchphrase of interest for weddings this season! Brides and grooms, alike, are all about the vintage-inspired wedding details, the hats, the outfits, the overall elegance.
Recently, we here at Sweet Cheeks Baking Co. partnered up with some fantastic San Diego wedding vendors to create a look for a styled shoot that paid homage to time long gone. Set at the amazing Villa de Flores in Rancho Santa Fe, the result of all the efforts is a photo shoot so fantastic that it was recently featured in wedding blog, Style Unveiled!
Part I of the three part series is features one beautiful couple; part II, which is where yours truly will be featured, focuses on the amazing props and attention to detail! Then, in Part III, there are even more gorgeous images, featuring yet another gorgeous couple!
Regarding our cake design: Style Unveiled put it this way: “the wedding cake was set up in the rose arbor with a chandelier hung above with beautiful rosette patterned floor length linen that draped over the entire cake table. The design of the cake, by Sweet Cheeks Baking Co., ties in with the design and decor of the reception and menus. The four tier round cake with a white base has accents of gold and silver with a different treatment and design for each tier. A perfect combination of delicate floral, bling accents, draped pearls and ribbon with a brooch.”
So, enjoy! We worked hard, but so did all the wedding vendors that took part in this shoot. It truly is spectacular!
