The wedding location may have been Inland San Diego (Rancho Bernardo Inn), but the wedding cake was all about the sea. Nature-loving/ocean-loving couple, Sharon & Tim King, chose to have a seaside-themed wedding cake for their big day, and we could not have been more thrilled about how the cake turned out!
Made of citrus with passion fruit curd & raspberry preserves, Italian butter cream with smoothed/beveled edges, and chocolate with white chocolate-raspberry mousse & Belgian chocolate ganache, the cake ingredients may sound complex, but really, they were perfectly paired! That combination of flavors is a personal favorite of mine, in fact.
Special thanks to the amazing photographs by San Diego photographer, Resolusean (Sean Capshaw), the seaside cake and the happy memories from the cake cutting were perfectly captured.
Sharon + Tim were a super fun couple to work with, and their lovely relaxed nature & great sense of humor made this experience another positive one for the books!
