Andy and Michael are just a super darling couple, and we were SO EXCITED to work for them and their darling families! We had a great visit here in our tasting room, and they were extremely warm and caring when I had surgery shortly after we’d met. For their wedding day, they created such a perfect combination of “masculine meets elegant and classic” with their minimalist color palette of white, navy, black, and green, their fabulous tuxes, and their clean style. On one of this springs rainiest of days, despite having to move the ceremony indoors and require a “Standing Room Only” for their many loving family and friends, they managed to remain all smiles & celebration for their guests. Bliss Events, ever the organized professionals, seamlessly segued guests through the stunning historic rooms of The Prado, creating a warm environment for ceremony through cocktails, and on to their ballroom reception – all protected from the elements outside.
Let me tell you, this cake was “ALL-BUSINESS”. A 4-tier combination of Red Velvet cake meets cream cheese vs. Marble cake meets Latte cream cheese…holy YUMMMMMM! These guys have great taste! All frosted in our Italian Buttercream. Assorted size cake tiers (including standard, short, and double tall heights), varying smooth with textured buttercream, with navy blue stripes on white with just a touch of gorgeous 14k gold leafing. Beautifully placed white flowers and greenery by our lovely Lauren as well as Diane at Whimsey Florals, adding the perfect touch of softness to the cake’s clean lines.
Thanks to ALL of the amazing vendors that contributed to Andy & Michael’s special day!
